Overview
Hallaq gives a barbershop its own app: online bookings, a live walk-in queue, and an icon on customers' home screens, all under the shop's own brand and with no commission. I designed, branded and built it, from the booking engine to the owner dashboard.

The brief
What needed solving.
Problem
A good shop leaks money three ways: calls that ring out mid-cut, walk-ins who leave a full bench with no idea of the wait, and booking marketplaces that take a cut and keep the client list.
Challenge
Making it effortless on both sides of the chair: customers book or queue in seconds with nothing to download, and owners run the day from their pocket, without the shop ever becoming a listing on someone else's marketplace.
In motion
See it work.
From the first DM to a full shop, in 40 seconds.
The approach
How I solved it.
- 01
Bookings that can't clash
Live availability with holds that expire, so the system physically cannot double-book a chair.
- 02
A queue in their pocket
Walk-ins grab a ticket by QR and watch their spot live, with a push when they're two away.
- 03
Your brand on their home screen
Each shop's name, colours and icon, installed straight from the browser in two taps.
- 04
Run it from your pocket
The same app turns around for the owner: today's bookings, the live queue and the week's numbers.
Impact
What it added up to.
Commission: a flat monthly fee, every dollar stays with the shop
To install the shop's own app, no app store
To set a shop up, services and QR posters included
